Born in Bow E3 (Tower Hamlets, London) in 1988 and raised by his mum and step-dad. By age four (4) Wax gained an interest into music and fell in love with Michael Jackson (biggest fan). Growing up Wax became close friends with popular music artist Tinchy Stryder at around age 7, and Dizzee Rascal & Wiley in he's latter years (age 12+). He began to gain an interest in music at age 9 and wrote his first song inspired by NWA at age 10.

Wax took music seriously at around age 14. He began writing, producing and recording music, eventually performing at many events as he got older. Throughout his music career, he collaborated with (long term friends) Tinchy Stryder & Ruff Sqwad, Wiley, Roll Deep, Bless Beats, Maniac, Nasty Crew, P Money, Dot Rotten, Paigey Cakey, Tim Westwood & more.

After 10 years of being involved in the music industry, Wax decided to hang up the mic (even though he still produces music here and there) he began to find an interest in sales, marketing, web design, property and fashion photography before starting a business in the entertainment industry in 2016.

In 2016, Wax (Daryl) noticed a need in the market for apsiring models and actors - who at the time were being duped & lied to for their money.

Wax put together a business idea that would go on to help young and aspiring models and actors establish themselves within the industry as self-employed professionals. The company went on to develop a number of young talent from all over the UK and some went on to become well recognised brands collaborating with the likes of Adidas, Burberry, Pretty Little Things, Levis & more. The company has also worked with charitable organisations such as WaterAid and participated in fashion shows such as London Fashion Week and African Fashion Week.
